Victoria Walker
Originally from Cumbria, Victoria moved to Cornwall in 2002 and spent four years studying fine art and illustration. To pursue an ongoing love of jewellery making, she enrolled into the Silversmithing and Jewellery degree at Truro College in 2006. While on the course, she began working part time for two local jewellers and won a bursary award from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths for her ‘mechanical’ locket designs. Her work is inspired by movement, the beauty of natural forms, and the idea that sometimes the most beautiful or precious elements are hidden beneath the surface. Since graduating in 2009, Victoria now works as a self employed jewellery designer-maker based in Cornwall.
